made together with visual artists Tättä Kajaste and Olga Hyvönen
Commissioned by the city of Lappeenranta. Proposal for the artwork was selected for execution from the Kamalan hienoa public art competition 2023. The chandelier was displayed autumn/winter 2023-2024 at the Lappeenranta arboretum where people could see the last flora of the summer used as material slowly wither away into the winter.







SAIMAAN SALAISUUS

stainless steel, metal junk from lake saimaa
made together with Taijatuuli Louhivuori
Saimaan salaisuus was commissioned by the city of Lappeenranta. The proposal for the artwork won the public art competition organized by the city of Lappeenranta in honour of the city’s green leaf 2021 title. The statue was built mainly of metal junk that divers hoisted up from the bottom of lake Saimaa in two public events in the winter of 2022. The work was revealed in august 2022 and is located in Paasikivenpuisto, Lappeenranta.

This artwork was commissioned by a Finnish importing company Lejos for an environmental art exhibition organised in the honor of their 100 year anniversary.
The artwork had to showcase one of their products in some way and we used their protein drink bottles for the main material.
Displayed in the environmental art exhibition Ruualla saa leikkiä 1.9.-8.9.2021 at Lasipalatsin aukio, Helsinki.
